In the second half of the 20th century, for the purpose of production of pulp and paper in Drvar, a dam was built on the river Unac. With the construction of a dam, 24.75 m hight and a width of 692 m, the river formed Prekajsko Lake or Župica Lake.
It is located in Prekaja near the village Župica, to which leads quite a good route 17 km away from the Drvar.
Its industrial need stops with the shutdown of cellulose production, and today it serves for recreational purposes, without infrastructure built.
The most common species of fish are carp and chub.
